QUESTIONS

HOW DO I BOOK?

Hit the big BOOK button in the header of our website or any other BOOK button on the website. This will take you to our booking pages where you will be able to see available time slots. The maximum number of players per time slot is 8 so if you’re a group of 8 or more you’ll need to split into smaller groups and book consecutive slots on the same course (we may need to stagger your group). Alternatively book a couple of different courses on the same time slot, although you won’t be playing together.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

It’s always best to book in advance as weekends and peak days sell out quickly and other days can be busy too. For this reason, we advise you to book at least two weeks in advance on weekends and peak days and as soon as possible on other days.

CAN I JUST TURN UP?

We set aside an allocation of walk-up tickets each day, but these are on a first come, first served basis, so we always recommend you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Our booking system in live, so you can see availability by checking before you arrive.

WHY IS 8 THE MAXIMUM NUMBER PER TIME SLOT?

The maximum number of players per time slot is 8 to avoid course congestion. If you’re a group of 8 or more, you’ll need to split into smaller groups and book consecutive slots on the same course (we may need to stagger your group). Alternatively book a couple of different courses on the same time slot, although you won’t be playing together.

I WANT TO BOOK 2 COURSES. HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I LEAVE BETWEEN?

We recommend that you leave 40 minutes to 1 hour between courses. Once you’ve finished your first course, you can head over to your next where our team will get you started.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNT / CONCESSION TICKETS?

We offer discounts for large groups, students, and blue light workers. We also have special offers from time to time. To check current discounts and offers please visit the PRICES page.

LARGE GROUPS

If you are interested in booking for a group of 12 or more players, please fill out a group booking form on the GROUPS page, and our team will get straight back to you.

STUDENT & BLUE LIGHT

We offer student and blue light discounts on every off-peak day (Sunday-Thursday). This discount is available on online and walk-in tickets. You will be asked to show proof upon arrival so make sure you bring a valid ID with you.

Blue Light Discount is valid for a Blue Light worker, plus 2 friends.

Student Discount is only valid for the Student ID holder.

CAN I BUY A GIFT CARD?

We’re now selling gift cards starting from £22.00, so you can give someone special the gift of the craziest golf. Gift cards bought online can be redeemed against online bookings, at any time for up to 12 months from the date purchased. Buy HERE!

Unfortunately, gift cards can’t be redeemed against drinks in the venue and any value left on a gift card is not refundable.

WHEN DO WE NEED TO ARRIVE?

Please arrive at the time displayed on your ticket, at the latest. This will give you time to check in, grab a drink, and head to the course for your game. If you arrive later, we may need to ask you to go straight to your course.

I’M RUNNING LATE / CAN’T MAKE MY BOOKING?

Please arrive as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your booking. The venues can be very busy and we may need to to move you to a later time slot.

CAN I BRING AN EXTRA PERSON?

To add an extra person to your booking, just go to our booking pages and buy an extra ticket for the same time slot, on the same course, subject to availability. Don’t forget, it’s a maximum of 8 people per time slot per course.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PLAY?

This depends on the size of your group and their ability, but a visit usually lasts between 1 and 2 hours. This includes the time it takes to check-in, order drinks and play one of our mashed up 9-hole courses. We also offer 18 holes prices now, so you can extend your visit and play another insane course.

ARE UNDER 18s ALLOWED?

We welcome supervised under 18’s at the following times:

CAMDEN

EVERY DAY: until 7PM

OXFORD

SUN-FRI: until 7PM

SHOREDITCH

SUN-WEDS: until 7PM

ALL OTHER VENUES

SUN-THURS: until 7PM

*Last golf time slot at 6pm.

*Under 18s will need to leave the venue by 7pm.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult (18+). The supervising adult needs to purchase a ticket and play the course with the under 18s they are supervising. One adult may supervise up to five under 18s. The supervising adult is required to bring a valid physical photo ID to gain entry. Unfortunately, we are strict on under 18 policies for licensing and health and safety reasons.

DO I NEED ID?

Photo ID is required to gain entry to any of our venues.  We only accept Passports, Driving licences, Provisional Driving Licences, or verifiable PASS ID/Citizen cards as valid forms of ID.

So, please remember to bring your physical photo ID with you as scans/photographs of ID or digital ID are not accepted.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who is unable to provide a valid ID and tickets can’t be refunded.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE THERE IN THE VENUE?

Our venues are all cashless and accept all major debit and credit cards.

Our happy hour is currently Sunday – Wednesday, although the drinks on offer change, we always have a section of epic cocktails and beers as part of the offer.

DOES THE VENUE HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?

Access to sites and courses may vary, depending on the venue. Please contact customerservice@junkyardgolfclub.co.uk in advance of your visit if you feel you may require additional support or if you have any questions regarding access.

Due to the nature of the game, access to the golf courses may be limited for anyone experiencing mobility issues. All our courses involve different levels, ramps, steps, lower-level obstacles, uneven edges, and restrictive spacing. In some venues, toilets may be situated on a different level. Seating is also limited at each venue.

We want to make everyone’s experience to be the best it can be so please talk to us before making a booking to discuss any needs you or members of your party may have.

LOST PROPERTY

We keep hold of lost property for one month before, so please check sooner rather than later!

ALLERGEN INFORMATION

Some of our food contains cereals, gluten, soya, milk, and sulphates and are prepared on busy bars. We can’t guarantee any of our food is allergen-free or that the risk of cross contamination has been eliminated. To ensure your safety, if you do have any allergies or intolerances, it is important that you tell us before you order every time you order.

CAN I CHANGE MY BOOKING?

We can change bookings and time slots if we have more than 24 hours’ notice, but we’re only able to change your booking once, so please make sure your new time slot is possible for all your party. Changes are subject to availability.

Simply send your tickets to guestsupport@junkyardgolfclub.co.uk with your new booking request and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

CAN I GET A REFUND?

If you need to cancel, we can issue a refund if we have more than 48 hours’ notice. Please get in touch as soon as possible as we may be able to re-book you.

GROUPS – WHAT TO I NEED TO DO ON ARRIVAL?

We ask the lead booker to arrive just before the booking time to check in, collect wristbands, tokens, and any extras. If you have an exclusive hire booking, we recommend arriving around 20 minutes prior to your booking time.

Your start time will be approximately 20 minutes after your arrival, so you have plenty of time to grab drinks and get ready to play. Drinks can be taken on to the courses and we also have bars around our courses where you can redeem any tokens.

If you have pre-ordered food, please speak to the team on arrival and they will have this ready for you after your game.

GROUPS – HOW CAN I PAY?

Payments can be made online, using a secure payment link or you can also pay by BACS. To secure a group booking we require a (non-refundable) deposit, which is then deducted from your final balance. We require the final balance to be paid at least 2 weeks before your booking (4 weeks during the Christmas period).

GROUPS – CAN I GET A REFUND?

If you need to cancel, before you have paid the final balance of your booking, you will only lose the non-refundable deposit. We can also change your booking at this time, subject to availability, but can only do this once.

If you need to cancel after you have paid the full balance, we are unable to offer any refunds, however, please get in touch as soon as possible as we may be able to rebook you onto an off-peak day.
