How do I book?

Hit the big ‘Book Now’ button on the right-hand side of our homepage to see our available slots. The maximum number of players per time slot is 8 so if you’re a party of 8 or more you’ll need to split into smaller groups and book a couple of different courses. For example, a group of 10 could book 5 tickets at 18:00 on ‘Gary’ and 5 tickets at 18:00 on ‘Bozo’. Alternatively, you can book consecutive slots on the same course!”

You can drink and socialise together, but we would stagger your numbers on the courses to prevent congestion. If you need a hand, please click the pink ‘Help’ icon on the bottom at the right-hand side and our Customer Service team will be happy to assist you.

When is the best time to book to be sure of a slot?

As you may know if you’ve tried to book at the last minute, weekends and peak days sell out fast. For this reason, if you want to play on a Friday or a Saturday, we’d advise you to book at least two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. Our Customer Service team are on hand to help with any of your booking queries.

What time should we turn up?

Please arrive at the time stated on your ticket. If you come earlier, you may be asked to wait outside because the venue can get quite full! When you arrive, you’ll have time to grab a drink, get your wristbands, and head to the course for some putting action! If arrive late, you’ll have to go straight to the course, which means you may miss that first drink!

What’s your under 18’s policy?

We allow supervised under 18’s at the following times ONLY:
Sunday-Thursday: Before 7PM, last golf at 6PM.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult (18+). One adult may supervise up to five under 18s. For health and safety purposes, the supervising adult must purchase a ticket and go around the golf course with the under 18’s that they are supervising. Physical forms of ID only must be shown to gain entry to any of our venues. Please see our Terms & Conditions for more information.

Do I need to bring ID?

Physical photo ID will be required whenever you enter any of our venues. We have the right to refuse entry to anyone who is unable to provide valid ID. All our venues accept ID such as Passport, Driving licence/Provisional Driving Licence or a verifiable PASS ID/Citizen card. Please bring photo ID with you as you will not be entitled to a refund if we refuse you entry, and you will only be offered an Off-Peak daytime slot if you re-book. Scans/photographs of ID or digital ID will not be accepted.

Do I need to wear a face mask?

Face coverings are no longer a legal requirement and are not mandatory in Junkyard, but please feel free to wear one if you prefer.

Why is 8 the maximum number of putters allowed on at any time slot?

Our maximum number of players per group is 8.

If you would like to book for 8 players you can do so online.

If you have a group of more than 8 players you can split your group up across 2 timeslots; however, you will need to follow the maximum players rule to avoid course congestion.

If you are interested in booking a package for groups of more than 12 players, fill out a group booking inquiry form, and our Sales and Bookings team will help get your party booked in!

Can I buy gift cards?

We’re now selling gift cards worth £10-£100.
Gift cards bought online can be redeemed against online bookings only, at any time for up to 12 months from the date purchased.
Gift cards can’t be redeemed against drinks in the venue and any value left on a gift card is not refundable. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information.

Can I change my time slot?

We can change bookings and time slots if you give us 24 hours’ notice, but we can only make a change to your booking once so make sure your new slot is 100% do-able for your party. We’ll also check that your new time slot is available at our end too.

How much does it cost to play a round?

Tickets have “peak” and “off-peak” prices. Off-peak tickets are applicable on Sun-Thurs and cost £8.50 per person. Peak tickets are applicable Fri – Sat and cost £10.00 per person. A booking fee of 50p is included within each ticket price and is non-refundable.

What are your payment methods in venue?

We are a cashless venue!

Can I just turn up?

Yes, of course you can. While we’re always happy to see you, places are limited so we always recommend you book in advance to avoid disappointment.

What should I do if I’m running late/can’t make my booking?

Please do your best to get to the yard as soon as you can, and our caddies will do their best to accommodate your booking. We have a tight time schedule so if you’re late, it could impact the next booking. This means while we’ll do our very best, we can’t always hold your slot if you don’t turn up on time.

Can I bring a carer?

Carers play for free at the yard! Get in touch with us on Live Chat to find out how to book in or you can drop us an email at customerservice@junkyardgolfclub.co.uk.

Can I bring an extra person?

We know that as soon as you tell people that you’re coming to Junkyard someone will want to tag along! To add an extra person to your booking, just go to the ticket page and buy an extra ticket for the same time slot on the same course. Don’t forget, it’s a strict maximum of 8 people per course.

How long does it take to complete the course?

This depends on how many players are in your party but usually the Junkyard experience lasts between an hour to an hour and a half. This includes the time it takes to check-in, grab a table, order one of our EPIC cocktails and putt your way through one of our 9-hole courses.

Lost property

We keep hold of lost property for one month before we get rid of it, so best check sooner rather than later!

We’re playing 2 courses. How much should we leave between each one?

We recommend you leave 40 minutes to 1 hour in between courses. Once you’ve putt your way through the first course, you can head over to your next one where our course Marshalls will get you started.

Can we reserve tables?

There’s no need! We’ve plenty of spaces where you can socialise with your friends. Tables are on a first-come first-served basis.

Can I leave a deposit and pay up on the night?

Sorry. We can only reserve tickets once they’ve been paid for in full, in advance. Tickets can only be booked online, through our website. If you’re struggling, visit our ‘Live Chat’ where a member of our Customer Service team will be happy to assist you.

Do you do discounted rates?

Yep! Students can get 50% off golf during every off-peak day (Sunday-Thursday). Simply select ‘Student Ticket Type’ during the booking process. Please note: you will need to present valid Student ID upon arrival. This offer is exclusively for University or College students.
We also offer 50% off golf on every off-peak day (Sunday-Thursday) for any occupation that’s under the Blue Light Scheme i.e., NHS staff, emergency services, and armed forces. Please hit the ‘Blue Light Ticket’ when you book to redeem this discount and you and up to three friends can save! You’ll be asked to show proof of occupation upon arrival so make sure you bring ID with you. If you’re not sure what ID to bring, ask our friendly teams on ‘Live Chat.

Does the venue have wheelchair access?

Access to sites and courses may vary, depending on the venue. Please contact customerservice@junkyardgolfclub.co.uk in advance of your visit if you feel you may require additional support or if you have any questions regarding access. Our team will be more than happy to assist.
Due to the nature of the game, access to the golf courses may be limited for anyone experiencing mobility issues. All our courses involve different levels, ramps, steps, lower-level obstacles, uneven edges, and restrictive spacing. In some venues, toilets may be situated on a different level. Seating is also limited at each venue. We want to make everyone’s experience to be the best it can be so if you have any concerns regarding access, please talk to us before making a booking to discuss any needs you or members of your party may have. Where can I find your contact number?

We don’t have a contact telephone number; all our venues are way too loud! Please get in touch with us on our social platforms if you’re going to be late or via Live Chat on our website. You can also email us at customerservice@junkyardgolfclub.co.uk: please note we can take up to 24 hours to respond to email.

Can I get a refund?

If you need to cancel, you must give us 48 hours’ notice to receive a refund. We can however change your booking if you give us 24 hours’ notice, but only one time. Once we’ve rebooked your tickets, you are issued with concession tickets These have no monetary value, so we won’t be able to offer a refund on these at a later date.

Group bookings – How to book?

If you have a group of 12+ and would like to book for packages or exclusive hire, get in touch via the group bookings enquiry form and a member of the sales team will be in touch within 24 hours to discuss your options. We have a max of 8 per time slot on each course so your group will need to be split into smaller groups on the same course or we may need to split your group over one-three courses depending on availability/group size. 

We charge a £50 non-refundable deposit which is taken off your final invoice, we then require payment in full 2 weeks before your booking. If payment is not received in this time, we will unfortunately have to cancel your booking. Please note – we require a minimum of 12 guests for packages, if numbers drop below 12 and the deposit has been paid we are unable to refund this.

Group bookings – Can I choose what course I want to book?

Yes! Please specify which course you would like when getting in touch with the sales team and depending on availability they will be able to sort this for you. 

Group bookings – Do you offer food?

We have bar snacks available to add to your package, please speak to the sales team and they can send over the options. We are able to pre order up to 50 food items per booking. We would require your pre order at least one week before your booking. 

Group bookings – Whats included in the house or any drinks token?

Our house drinks tokens include house beer, wine, single spirit & mixers and soft drinks where as our any drinks tokens include double spirit & mixers, cocktails and pretty much anything off our menu! 

Group bookings – What to do on arrival?

Please arrive at the time of your booking to collect all packages and tokens. You will be given wristbands for the course start time and another wristband with the lead booker/company name which you can show at the bar to redeem tokens. Your tee-off will be approximately 20 minutes after your arrival. 

Drinks can be taken on the courses with you whilst you play. We also have bars on certain courses in which you will be able to redeem your tokens. If you have pre ordered food please speak to the team on arrival and they will be able to have this ready for you after your game.

Group bookings – What are your payment methods?

To secure your booking we require a £50 deposit and the final balance is due two weeks before your booking. We don’t take payment over the phone, we will send a secure payment link to your email address and you will be able to pay online. If you would like to pay by BACS please speak to the sales team and they will be able to send over details for you. 

Please note- we do not accept BACS payments the week of your booking. 

Group bookings – Whats the difference between exclusive and non exclusive?

You can hire one of our courses for you and your party from 1 hour – 2 hours and this will be closed exclusively to your group. Please speak to the sales team regarding pricing. 

If you would like non-exclusive hire there will be other members of the public on the courses however your group will still all be together as you go round depending on availability. 

Group bookings – My numbers have changed, what can I do?

If your numbers have increased please let us know as soon as possible and we may be able to add them on for you. If this is the week of your booking you can purchase golf and drinks in the venue depending on availability.

If numbers have dropped and you haven’t paid the final balance, let the sales team know and they will be able to amend the invoice for you.

If numbers have dropped below 12 speak to our customer service team and they will be able to get you booked in for golf as all packages require a minimum group size of 12 people. 

If you have paid the balance in full and numbers drop all drinks tokens must be used on the date of your booking however we may be able to rebook the unused golf places for you. 

Group bookings – Refund Policy

If you are unable to make your booking please get in touch with the sales team and they may be able to rebook you for an off-peak date only depending on availability. If you do wish to rebook your booking, please ensure you have a new confirmed date as we are only able to rebook this once for you.
