Covid-19 Secure Measures

To ensure we are Covid-Secure, we have carried out and taken precautionary measures to ensure the safety of you and our teams. See below the full deets…

Social Distancing!
Of course, we are following all the government guidelines to ensure that when you are in our venues you can socialise at a safe distance from others whilst still having a mega time! Our venues are large, spacious and cater well for distant socialising, we’ll also be adding additional measures such a booth dividers and signposting.

We have changed some of our courses to only sell 4 tickets per time slot. If you have a group of 6 players you can split your group up across 2 timeslots; however, you will need to follow the government guidelines on social distancing, being from the same household/social bubble, and play separately on the courses.

We’re upping our already tight cleaning schedule to ensure all key areas of our yards are thoroughly cleaned every 30 minutes. Hand sanitisation stations will be available throughout the venue and courses. Golf clubs and balls will be cleaned after every game.

Safety of Staff!
Our crew’s safety and wellbeing is super important to us as they make your experience epic. We’ll be giving our team the option to wear PPE such as masks or visors whilst they are working and they will be of course washing their hands regularly. All our crew will be given training and supported as we re-open!


Due to COVID-19 we are taking precautionary measures including closing our cloakroom for the time being. Please bear this in mind when arriving at the yard and come prepared!

Ordering a drink!
You need to be seated to order a drink so you will get 20mins from your arrival time to sip on one of our Mega Cocktails! Order from our QR code on the table! Remember we are cashless!

Track and Trace!
To help the NHS out and do our bit, we have in place a Track & Trace System in all our yards.
You can log in to our Wi-Fi in the venue using your smartphone and easily add your name and number on to the form. If you start to feel unwell and you have visited our venue you will need to contact NHS directly on 119 and explain that you have visited us, when you visited and who you were with! Your data will not be used for marketing purposes, all your information is kept super safe and deleted after 21 days.

COOL, how do I book!?

Hit the big ‘BOOK NOW’ button on the right hand side of our homepage, select the ‘Book golf’ and it’ll then direct you to our availability!

Due to social distancing, our maximum players per time slot is 6! If you have more than 6 players you will need to split your party into smaller groups and book across different courses i.e. a group of 10 would need to book 5 tickets at 18:00 on Gary and 5 tickets at 18:00 on Bozo. Pro-tip for victory: putt yourself with the worst players!

Some of our courses are limited to group sizes of 4 due to social distancing measures.

If your party is bigger than 6 again, you will be spilt across two tables or more!

Why is 6 the maximum number of putters allowed on at any time slot?

Due to the amendments to the government guidelines the maximum number of players per group is 6.

If you would like to book for 6 players you can do so online.

If you have a group of 6 players you can split your group up across 2 timeslots; however, you will need to follow the government guidelines on social distancing!

Do I need to wear a face mask?

From Thursday 24th September all none seated customers must wear a face mask.

This means that all guests, who are not seated at a table in the bar area, must be wearing a mask.

If you arrive without a mask you will be refused entry, unless you’re exempt but proof will be need to be provided.

Masks will be available for purchase at our caddy shack!

All our staff wear PPE such as visors/face masks and they work behind screens on bars and at reception 🙂

There are plenty of sanitisation stations too and lots of additional cleaning going on!

Can I buy gift cards?

We are now selling gift cards to the monetary value of £10-£100!

Gift cards can be purchased online via our website and last for 12 months from the date purchased.

They can be redeemed against golf only!

Money on gift cards is not redeemed against drinks in the venue and anything left over can’t be refunded.


Why can I only book 4 tickets!?

We’ve reduced some of our courses to 4 tickets per time slot. This is to adhere to the new social distancing rules!

What’s your policy on under 18’s?

We allow supervised under 18’s at the following times ONLY:

Sunday to Thursday before 7pm, last entry 6pm. One paying adult must supervise every 5 under 18s.

We operate a Challenge 25 policy and ID will be required when entering the yard! Photos or scans of valid IDs will not be accepted.

SICK. When should we turn up?!

Please arrive at the time stated on your ticket – no earlier as you may be asked to wait outside due to the venue capacity!

Y’all be given the VIP treatment with table service from one of our MEGA course marshalls before they get you started on the course to show off ya puttin’ skills!

If you’re late to your booking this could result in you missin’ out on your drinkin’ time!

Can I change my time slot?

We can change booking/time slots if you give us 24 hours prior notice – we can only make amendments to bookings once so make sure your new desired time slot is deffo doable for your party!

Send through your tickets to with your new booking information and we’ll get it all sorted for ya!

What’s it gonna cost me?!

Tickets are charged at a ‘peak’ and ‘off peak’ rates.

Off-peak tickets are applicable Sun – Thurs and are £8.50 per ticket, per person.

Peak tickets are applicable Fri – Sat and are £10.00 per ticket, per person

50p of your ticket price is a booking fee, this is non-refundable.

What are your payment methods in venue?

We are a cashless venue!

Drinks can be purchased via App only which accepts most major cards, Apple Pay & Google Pay. You’ll find a QR code on your table, scan it and you’re good to go!

Do you do walk-in tickets?

‘Fraid not. Until further notice, we’re only taking advance bookings so make sure you plan ahead to avoid disappointment as you won’t be able to purchase any tickets at the yard!

I’m going to be late/can’t make my booking, what should I do?

Do what you can to get you and your party pals to the yard as soon, as possible and our caddies will do their best to accommodate your booking.

We have a tight time schedule so no promises that you’ll be able to get ya golf on!

Oops, I forgot to add an additional playa to the booking! How do I add them?

Get yourself back on the ticketing page and buy an additional ticket for the same time slot on the same course, simple huh?

How long does it take?

This depends on when you’ve booked for and how many players are in your party!

Including the time it takes you to check-in, grab a table, order one of our EPIC cocktails and putt your way through one of our 9 hole courses – your Junkyard experience will last an hour to an hour and a half on average!


Lost property

Get in touch with us on live chat or email if you think you’ve left anything behind at the yard!

We keep hold of lost property for one month before we get rid of it, so best check sooner rather than later!

We’re playing 2 courses. How much of a gap should we leave?

We recommend leaving 40 minutes to 1 hour in between courses.

Once you’ve putt your way through the first course, head straight over to your next and our course marshalls will get you started in no time!

Can we reserve tables?

There’s no need! Y’all be seated once you’ve checked in at our caddy shack reception.

You now get the VIP treatment with table service from our MEGA Junkyard staff – we’ll take a Hotline Ting 😉


Can’t I just leave a deposit and pay the rest on the night?

Afraid not, sorry! We can only reserve tickets once they’ve all been paid for in advance. Tickets can only be booked online, through our website.

Do you do any discounts?


Students can get 50% off golf for every off-peak day (Sunday-Thursday). You’ll just need to select ‘Student ticket type’ during the booking process! Please note: you will be required to bring a valid student ID upon arrival! This offer is only redeemable for University or college students! 

We also offer 50% off golf on every off-peak day (Sunday-Thursday) for any occupation that’s under the Blue Light Scheme i.e. NHS staff, emergency services, and armed forces. Please hit the ‘Blue Light ticket type’ during the bookings process to redeem this discount – this can be used for you and 3 other party pals! You’ll be asked to show some form of proof upon arrival so make sure you bring something along with you!

We don’t offer any discount on our package deals I’m afraid!

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Due to the uniqueness of each of our venues, access for each site and of our courses vary. Some of our sites require entrances via stairs and some have lifts/escalators. We advise you to contact in advance of your visit if you feel you may require additional support or should you have any questions at all regarding access.

Our team will be more than happy to assist. Please consider that at each location, access to golf courses may be limited for anyone experiencing mobility issues. All of our courses involve different levels, ramps, steps, lower level obstacles, uneven edges and restrictive spacing. In some venues, toilets may be situated on a different level. There is limited seating available in each venue. We’d hate for anyone to be disappointed on the day, so it’s really important you get in touch with us as soon as possible before making a booking to discuss any needs you or members of your party may have on Where customers are required to bring additional participants to facilitate their visit they will incur no extra cost.

Can I get a refund?

If given 48 hours’ prior notice we can refund your booking, anything less than that then ‘fraid not!
