WHAT’S ON AT JUNKYARD GOLF IN 2023

2022 was a great year for us at Junkyard Golf Club, with our re-brand, countless events across our venues and our newly launched roof terrace bar in Manchester becoming busier than ever. But 2023 is set to be bigger and better than ever.

HERE’S WHAT TO EXPECT FROM JUNKYARD GOLF CLUB IN 2023:

DATE NIGHT

Valentines or Galentines? Get a date or grab your mates and get your game on this valentine’s – no awkward conversations, no bad vibes, just great times.

We’ve got cocktails that make the perfect pairing – Junkyard Love Club and Flirty Martini (get a Flirty Martini and we’ll even throw in a pair of love tinted specs) – as well as snacks and loads more drinks, so choose your course and secure your booking for a date night to remember.

Oh and FYI, Junkyard makes a great date night location any time of the year – not just valentines!

MANY MORE EVENTS

Valentines isn’t the only event to put in your calendar – last year we held everything from pride events to private parties to spooky discos!

In 2022, for one night only, we transformed our Newcastle venue into a spooky neon disco, hence the name – Disco is Dead! With performances from Tallia Storm, as well as DJ sets from Becca Dudley and Abbie Holborn, plus guest appearances from Geordie Shore cast members, this one was one to remember.

Newcastle might not have been our only venue to host its own halloween event, but it was probably our favourite.

In case you didn’t know, we offered half price golf throughout January (this is why you should follow our socials!), but it’s not the only month you can save. We offer student discount and blue light discount throughout the whole year, as well as special dates where you’ll get more for less.

CHARITY SUPPORT

Last year we raised over £17K for LGBTQ+ causes for local charities close to the hearts of our venues. We hosted a number of pride events, with our favourite Queens, DJs, loads of entertainment and of course a cocktail special.

Our dedicated ‘Kiss the Rainbow’ cocktail, made with Absolut Watermelon, Sourz Rainbow Ice, Pineapple, Blue Curacao and Grenadine was inspired by the bright and colourful pride flag, with all profits from the cocktail going directly to the charities.

This year we’ve got even more in the pipe-line. Will it include festival pop-ups again? Wait and see.

2 MILLION ROUNDS OF GOLF?

Ok, we had to end with the big one – in 2022, we had a total of 1.2 million rounds of golf played! That’s an insane amount of golf. Can you help us reach 2 million this year?
